Pet Loss and Grief Support

The loss of a companion is often a very deep, personal loss, and for some, not unlike the loss of a child. People who are either grieving the loss of a companion animal or are anticipating a loss may find the following guides, support groups, recommended readings and poems beneficial during this difficult time.

As always, our doctors and staff would like to express their deepest sympathies to those families who have suffered the loss of their beloved companion.
Although their absence may be felt for a long time, we hope you will find peace, comfort and healing in the reflection of the many wonderful memories you shared together.

Remember, love is not lost when memories are held near the heart.
