Jessica, Receptionist
Jessica is a graduate of Edinboro University and Great Lakes College. She has been involved in the veterinary field since 2003 and joined the NWPaPEC staff in June, 2007. Wildlife rehabilitation is one of Jessica's fields of interest within veterinary medicine. Outside of the veterinary field, she enjoys jewelry making, art history, and ornithology (specifically raptors). Jessica and her husband share their home with Dweezle and Bella, their rescued Shiba Inus, B-Girl and G-Bunny, their rabbits and Gin, the Devon Rex.
| Joann, Office Manager
Joann is currently attending Mercyhurst college, as she completes her accounting/management degree. She has been part of the NWPaPEC staff since July, 2007. She is a member of both the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association and Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Practice Association. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, scrap-booking, and spending time with her daughter; Papillon, Maggie; cats, Baby and Comet; Pete, their bearded dragon; and Millie and Tillie the guinea pigs.

Teresa, Technician, Hospital Liaison
Teresa grew up in Central Illinois, starting out very early with an interest in Veterinary Medicine. She gained important experience in a variety of veterinary clinics prior to attending Illinois State University, earning a Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Animal Sciences. She joined an emergency facility during college and found it to be a preferred area of interest; she joined us here at NWPaPEC in early 2010 having 13 years prior emergency and 17 years prior day practice experience. Besides working, Teresa enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, their 2 birds, Kowhai and Kahurangi; 2 domestic shorthairs, Cajun and Boo-ska-do; American Wirehair cat, Doc; and Sphynx, Cheddar. She also enjoys showing, training and spending time with their 7 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Seti, Ekundu, Nyea, Shirley, Hailey, Beans, Aoife, and rescued German Shepherd, Flash.
| Thelma, Technician
With a BS from Penn State in Animal BioScience and over 22 years' experience in the field of veterinary medicine, Thelma is an invaluable NWPaPEC team member. Thelma is a member of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Technicians Association. Feline medicine and surgery tops Thelma's interests in the veterinary field. Outside the clinic, her interests include competing in agility trials with her dogs, bike riding, reading and spending time with her husband, son, daughter and pets: German Shepherd Dogs, Mongo and Kaylee; Cats, Lucky, Zoe, Scooby Doo, Munster; 4 cockatiels; parakeet; guinea pigs, Sunshine and Clover; and Hunter the chameleon.
